IS4G Savoia Marchetti 79 Sparviero
IS4G Italian air force standard bomber during WWII the S.79 Sparviero (sparrow-hawk) was extensively used as horizontal bomber and torpedo-bomber. The military version derived from a civilian one that obtained prestigious results, in the thierties, in many aerial competitions; the most famous was the Paris-Damascus-Istres air race in 1937; three S.M.79C planes obtained the first three places, overperforming the french and british competitors. On wearing the uniform the Sparviero was modified with a dorsal hunch to receive the rear-facing 12.7 mm Breda-Safat machine gun; from that moment on it was know as "Il Gobbo (The Hunchback)". The first squadrons to receive were assigned to bombing missions and soon, with the breakout of the war, new torpedo-bombing units were formed; the Sparviero was perfectly suited for this job, thanks to its manouvrability and capability to sustain heavy damage, and obtained the greatest successes against the british convoys in the Mediterranean. SCASM edition.

Thank you for choosing another FDG plane and for supporting www.donationware.net!
Install:
Follow the prompts in the install wizard and the FDG2 SBD pack will be automatically installed into FS9 for you. If you wish to do a manual install, please point the installer towards a temporary folder and unpack the contents. You can then places the files into the proper location at your own discretion.
Uninstall:
No uninstall program is included with this software. To uninstall, find the FDG2_SBD_uninstall.log file located in the [FS_Root]\Aircraft\FDG2_SBD-5_Dauntless folder. This contains a list of all the files installed and their locations. Delete the listed files and the plane is uninstalled. Some of the CFS1, CFS2, and FS2000/FS2002 default gauges are included with this install. Other planes in your library may need these gauges, so it is recommended that you do not delete these gauges without backing them up first.
Our thanks go out to everyone who contributed to the creation and testing of this set. We couldn't have done it without ya!

This package, with Wolfi's permission, is a consolidation of his library packages from one through seven, as well as his large bridge, Dutch farmhouse, and Dutch windmill. All vehicles are excluded, and are in a separate package.
For this package, all fixes found in the original package have been included, including MaskRider's fix for a couple of the library objects which could cause CTDs when explosions are triggered.
This should allow users to avoid having to download so many different library object packages!
* This package was updated on 25 October, 2015 to correct missing ship folders and to add corrected .dp files by Pen32Win, and again on 28 March, 2016 to include updated ships and aircraft, as well as a missing object package. It was updated a final time on 15 March, 2017 to correct a missing folder for the Mediterranean seaplane bases.
Welcome to the Western Desert, 1942 campaign package! This is a series of fifty-five missions in three separate campaigns that center around the experiences of Western Desert forces in Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt during the Winter and Spring of 1942, with the German campaign extending through their initial retreat from El Alamein. All of the missions are historically plausible, and are based on events that happened during that time period.
This campaign is a complete overhaul of a much older Groundcrew version, originally created by Cliff Burgess. The scenery has been thoroughly modified & updated to utilize the fantastic North African airfields created by Achim27619, as well as custom GSL port facilities at Alexandria, Tobruk, Derna, Benghazi, and Tripoli, along with various fortifications in the desert theatre; this includes the fortress at Bir Hacheim.
All the aircraft included in this package are the most modernized available. Additionally, some of the missions are now very dynamic, and all of the missions feature improved triggers and events, resulting in a much more enjoyable experience.
In this package, you will find the GSL scenery objects, anti-aircraft guns, buildings, scenery packages, voice packs, as well as the UIRES screens, sound enhancements, and nearly all the other equipment required, together with the campaigns & missions themselves.
Those whose work has been used for this project include: Davmag, Pen32Win, Achim27619, Xavierb, Wolfi, Stiz, The Virtual Navy, MaskRider, Gary20, Jean Bomber, Nanni, Nibbio, Bismarck13, The Groundcrew Team, the AF team, Ajax, Rebuffat, Usio, Ettico, Serge Tremblay, Steve Seybolt, UncleTgt, Isoliti4gatti, Franz von Baron, Erufle, & Canion.
