This is a fictional wood panel for the Cessna 170B that looks great (IMHO!)in the C-170B red and bare metal plane texture set that comes with the Alabeo payware product. Having said that, it will work in any C-170 texture set. You must own the payware Alabeo Cessna 170B airplane to use this panel addon.
At the request of one of our members, I have done an update for P3D_V4.2 that replaces Tim's original "gau" gauges with alternates that work. Texture updates, gauge bezels, additional switches and warning lights and VC color changes have also been included.
This package has been tested in both P3D_V4.2 and FSX/Accel
This is a texture fictive of Falcon 20E Version 1.1 - Escadrille 12S MARINE N°80 TAHITI FAA, for Falcon 20E Version 1.1 by "Rotorhub", for Microsoft Flight Simulator X or Lockheed Martin P3Dv4.
FSX/Acceleration/FS2004/P3dV3 German frigate F217 BAYERN, a ship of the Brandenburg-class. The package contains two pilotable and two ai-versions; one ai-boat with a helicopter flying circles above the boat. The ship is in service since 1996 and has a length of 139 m. It is armed with a 127 mm and two 27 mm guns plus different missiles and carries two Sea Lynx helicopters. The pilotable version has thirty moving parts, a photorealistic 2D-panel and a complete virtual nav-bridge. The animations shows take offs and landings of the Sea Lynx and even Exocet missile launches. Twenty four camera views let you explore all decks and the virtual bridge, let you operate all weapons and the helicopter.
The gauges and the weapon switchboard are made by Pierre-Jean Carosin.
This is a conversion of the old Alphasim Bristol Beaufort to FSX-native standard and for P3Dv4.5. The project is dedicated to my old German teacher, Wing Commander Arthur Aldridge DFC and bar, who flew the Beaufort with distinction between 1940 and 1943, with No. 217 Sqdn., initially from St Eval in Cornwall, later from RAF Luqua on Malta and finally in Sri-Lanka and Singapore.
There are 11 models included, representing the major variants of the Beaufort in service with the RAF and the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). There are 8 new texture sets based on the original paint kit, as well as the 4 original ones from Alphasim.
Sounds are from the default DC-3.
The P3D version contains glass textures, set for PBR, in order to remove the blue tint; if you wish to use it in other P3D versions I suggest you try the FSX models.
There are some known issues: The RAAF and Mk.2 models retain the smaller Bristol Taurus nacelles and gear doors; I am not sufficiently gifted at modelling to create new ones myself but anyone willing to do so is welcome.
All of the FSX models demonstrate an artifact in DX10 but not DX9. A black line appears on both nacelles top and bottom, back to the U/C doors. This is most likely caused by texture stretching affecting bump mapping. Therefore, DX10 needs to be turned off when flying the Beaufort in FSX.
