Thanks again for your work, she looks terrific!
My apologies for the zombie thread: is still there a way to download this?
She has an R-3350 :encouragement:
I'm so pleased to see the Sea Furies all getting updates! Dare I hope for all your other Reno racers too?
She's come up beautifully Richard, thank you so much!

Richard, not a problem at all! There's no rush at all :encouragement:
That looks fantastic! Congratulations on an awesome job, and so quick!
I'm intrigued to hear about the other model - I expected more from Piglet's based on the real-world specs.
I’m so sorry to hear that, he produced some lovely designs. How awful.
Great start! Just an FYI (I’m not sure if it’s just because it’s a WiP and that’s how you work) but the civilian scheme was for racing, so I wouldn’t expect to see much variation in panel colours.

That would be fantastic, thank you! Would you like me to post photos of the USAAF scheme too?
Hi all,
I've been having a ton of fun flying the Tim Conrad-designed, Michael Pook-updated XP-40Q (fsx_curtissp40q.zip on FlightSim.com) but the schemes are total fiction. Is there anyone who would...
Thanks Huub, I think this shows how little I've actually used the forum! Thanks for setting me straight :encouragement:

My prayers are answered!
There is no god!
I'm so sorry to hear that John, I was really excited to see N51Z's new form in this as she's my favourite Mustang currently flying.
Not that I...
Thanks DB, I wasn't aware of that and it does make total sense in terms of cheating.
That's very exciting to learn! Hopefully someone can figure it out and her out there. I was excited when I heard Vicky Benzing had bought her and was keeping the original scheme.
In a similar...
I have a feeling John knows, but I wonder if the ASOBO folk know of the rich history of Reno P-51Ds numbered 38?
I am very glad to hear that. I have two friends with Pitts - one an S-1 and the other an S-2 - and I really want to get in on the fun at a level I can afford :playful:
My machine can't handle MSFS...
That's really disappointing to hear, John, thanks for that analysis.
I'll take that as a yes-leaning "maybe".

Plenty of reference material around, although knowing your fastidiousness I expect you'd have no issues in that regard should you end up...
I was hoping you'd say that as I'd love to see N51Z - both as "Shanty Irish" #6 as raced at Reno 2017 and in her XP-51 1039 scheme!
Thanks Cees - I may have been overeager with the throttle.
I feel a little embarrassed given no-one else has brought this up, but what's the best realism settings to fly the 100D in FSX? I have everything cranked up and, even with full right rudder trim,...
Is anyone taking requests for FSX repaints?
