I recently put the CLS 146 back on this rig (i5 2500k/GTX760OC) and on a flight from Northolt to Aberdeen, FSX just managed to hang on. Out of interest.....
Well, not quite!! Live weather (AS2016) and the beautiful Classic Wings Sopwith Camel sporting Matt's new metal textures:

TBH YoYo.. FSXers have lived through 4 full versions of P3D (plus countless interims), X-Plane and dare I mention it.. FSW and at each stage, we've been reminded of just how good 'the other' sims are...
That would still be unnecessary and no more relevant than an FS9-FSX 'area' IMO;)

No need to do anything really. Post P3D screenshots in the P3D forum and FSX screenshots in the FSX forum. What could be more simple:encouragement:

Cheers Matt:encouragement:
Problem with these is that I try to keep a balance between what I have installed and where they are for 'ready use'. I keep the 'Naval' versions handy but not the...

Nice paint on the Pup:encouragement: One of yours?
BTW.. I pulled the modified metal maps for the Camel and bashed my head against a wall for nearly half an hour trying to get them to work. In the...
It is Matt.. one of Bananabob's if I'm not mistaken and one of 2 PReal he did. Can't remember where I got them from so I'll zip them up for you to save the search. Give me 5;)
EDIT: Yup.. they're...
I'm rather gung-ho as far as ATC goes.. eg, silent routine!!:biggrin-new: On that flight, I actually landed on the tiny helicopter runway at Portland.. no problem for the little Auster:encouragement:...
She is indeed:encouragement: I took off from Alderney, pointed the nose north.. set the throttle.. trimmed her just a little then sat and ate my dinner while keeping a watching brief. By the time I...

Its a pity the model isn't! Every time I see Huub's paint, I'm convinced that's the best model they've ever done.

Mean skies and an interesting location. Where is that Matt?

It's Ronnie Reagan mate.. 76. There's been a recent thread on Carrier activity here and someone posted a link to some modified models. 76 was on there which in turn, started my Arleigh Burke painting...
Nothing like the power of suggestion;)
The weather isn't particularly good around the UK so I went off to Pearl Harbour to take those. Wish I lived a little closer to the sea in RL. Most of the...
