Downloading now. I have the original FS9 model as well and I wondered if this new one was a port over at first but seeing the screens made me think this one is a native FSX rebuild. Segments of the VC and the exterior look cleaner and more detailed than the original.

    Great news!

Well Just finished my first flight in her and it really is a nice piece of work the flight dynamics seem pretty good too, shame the VC isn't clickable but hey its free!:salute:

It is a tough one to land without breaking those flimsy outriggers. Otherwise a cool a/c, kind of like a hybrid between a Me262 and a Meteor.

yeah same here, its certainly one of the biggest fighters I know of, strangely I've always liked it though and I'm glad this guy made one for fsx!

Thanks for the HU Peter. That is a very nice airplane. Now I can retire my 2002 Vautour.

No problem mate! Can anyone figure out hot to get the chocks and ladders in place?

    Cool!

This was one of my favorite jets in FS9.

I'll be downloading as soon as I get home.

Gave it a quick test earlier and looks very nice on first viewing.

Also this is surely deserving of a sticky!

    I agree.

It's one of those add-on's that If just a little effort was spent it would be a classic! It's got an excellent Exterior and VC, but no clickable VC which is a shame.
Anyway I'll be flying it around still.

Yes same here, I'm enjoying this unusual fighter very much here! I think the VC is very nice also!

    Very nice model, but...

    - the autoinstaller
    - the practically useless, yet still beautiful VC

...are some serious drawbacks. I'll wait for an update.

She is a bit of a handful in the air too! It will go into a fatal flat spin at the drop of a hat!

Just install to a temp folder, copy the aircraft, effects and gauges to FsX and then run the uninstaller.

The non-clickable buttons in the VC are no big hassle either for me; the quality of the entire package (Especially for such a rare aircraft) makes that a minor issue to me. Not enough for me not to fly it!

    For the people using it:
The file "fx_vclight_VIIN.fx" goes in the fsx main folder??? Or in the effects folder?

Agreed it's too nice to ignore, as for the fatal spin, cut your throttles completely and push fully forwards on the stick and the nose will come down and she will recover, you might be slightly dizzy after but you will have regained full control!:salute:

    Ladders when parked?

Does anyone know how to get the ladders to appear?
