The XB-46 is correct. It is a very nice plane to look at.

Flying is the second greatest thrill known to man. Landing is the first.

Not sure I'd like to see the takeoff performance at weight of the -46 from KSAN...
OK, let's move to a biplane _ Attachment 63983

I think our grainy lady is the Grigorovich I-2
Another nice old bipe' for us to ponder.....
A Chelsea girl, this one. The Wells Reo.
Fellows, I am 101% sure about the Reo, and I have to leave for an extended weekend in a foreign country (England) so if John will excuse me, I will post a nice easy one to keep things rolling along.
Please continue when you get it. This is a scene from an aircraft carrier. Lots of clues, but can you name the ungainly machine at the front ?
An extra nip of single malt if you can also name the carrier !
A Levy-Biche LB.2 aboard the Bearn methinks.
Moving on per Lefty's request with an airliner...
Congratulations Moses, it wasn't easy!
For our younger readers (if any) NAVO stands for an ominous Nederlandse Automobiel en Vliegtuig Onderneming, this aircraft being built in 1920 and powered by a Benz engine delivering 220HP.
I do suspect that only one of such
machines were built.
Over to you Sir
Baragouin
Thanks Baragouin. In researching the N.A.V.6, I found this info on it.

Here is another from your side of the pond-
Hundley-Pudge?
And back to Baragouin on the La-tay-co-air.
Non-descript indeed. Uncle Sam special?
Okay, I don't have my copy of Canadian Aircraft handy but I think this is a Can-Car design built in Mexico called the Barrera EP Ares.
Putnam's Canadian called it a license built Maple Leaf or "Ares". So I will press on here.
Light twin for you all-
