Coming along nicely!
The only thing I see with many of these paints is a lack of oil streaks and exhaust. They look a little too clean. Just a thought.

Fair warning, I'm a slow worker. Hopefully the wait will not disappoint. But the water's fine so jump on in!
While we're on the subject, can somebody shoot me the FS or RGB numbers for the topside gray used on the E-1 by the USN from 65 to 75? The only gray my air-brush can remember right now is (36440) 182-181-176!
Thanks

I use this for my repaints FS36440 172 172 164. And I use this website:

and I use this program to get the RGB values from the website above.

Hi John, thanks for your response. All my color references, limited though they may be, agree that the gray should be FS36440, Light Gull Gray. It's just that the grays in some of the screen shots looked darker than that. Could be just the differences in the monitors presenting the colors though. I just wanted a warm fuzzy for the "correct" gray to use.
Thanks,
Steve

Hiya,
Seems Adobe Photoshop does not like my repaintkit... Or better say does not want to load it. Adobe seems to behave as a monopolist :mixedsmi:
Same repaintkit in psd format will be available shortly.

Just to keep you up-to-date, Scott continues progress on the gauges and panel textures, both 2D and VC.
Working on consoles and overhead now.
I'm trying to figure out where these parts are mapped! Can anyone help me out? It wasn't mentioned in the repaint kit readme document. Thanks! The flap hinges are also mapped to this texture also.
Edit, found the past reply about white1 texture. Where is the tail wheel strut mapped to? Thanks again!
Many of the smaller items can be found on the tailsc1a.bmp.
I'll have to check the tail wheel yoke.
See attached.
Let me know if you need anything else.
