As I recall Patrick Head once remarked of Nigel Mansell words to the effect "It would be ideal if we could just lower him into the car on the grid via helicopter and hoist him out at race end".
Hamilton has reached that point now, at 30 years of age he has the mentality (out of a car) one would expect of a spotty teen.
