Looking better every time I see it. No doubt the final will be a classic.

Like seeing the development, specific showing the pattern in the with the structure, that is so well done.

Here's some work on the nacelles. It's frustrating at times with the brain flip visuals. One minute the panels are in then flip out. Sometimes I blink my eyes and back to inners.

I'm doing a painting off the B-26 , one asked me what were those lumps on the side , when I told him there were four cheek gun's, two each side for ground strafing, he got really interested. .... its looking great, just keep blinking your eyes

Peeked at your Art Gallery... beautiful work Ian!

I thought I would do something about those tire graphics. Scratching my head as to why it was left that way in the final release.

Thanks Matey , The Marauder paint is sitting background close to being finished, at a request I returned back to NZ waters , a mixture off Frigate and Helicopter , the B-26 won't be far behind.

This has been a fun thread to follow as Duckie said. I do wonder though about that tail cone on the model. Does not look to be the right shape. Perhaps it needs to be refined just a bit more. Guess it depends on what version of the B-26 you are doing as there were several different treatments of that tail area.

It's an interesting model. Reminds me of MAAM's B-25 with lumpy wheels! Low poly for an FSX model, but it's the only FSX Marauder. There are several different tail cones on the Marauder over the years.

Little pity it showing off its Cheyenne rear end while sitting in the mud.

Seems to be it's natural stance before the modified land gears were in place.

Just some minor stuff today, weekends are for flying! The firewall is exposed in white, so going to see if that can be found to paint.

Nice maruader, always did like Attack Aircraft. Excellent Firepower and Range make them an effective weapon. Say, didn't the Marauder effectivly serve the same purpose as the A20G Havoc?

As it turned out to be one hell tactical bomber, the load was only almost equal short range - to a standard max load for a long range B17/24 mission , they got renown for ground sweeps , dang impressive machines .. and seriously even today really look like they have a purpose.

That would have been a site ... unfortunately for me wrong place, wrong time - course the "Mr Bean" entry was not until 1962.
