BTW : Apart of the Bounty project scenery, is that small drivable dingy boat going to be released also ?...
    It could be very handy...

Nice work on the flags Sir!

    You mean this one?

Nigel has it on the list of projects to be textured.

I'm sure over the next few days, we can supply a Bounty Paintkit. :-)

Would be nice to see the Greek Galanoleuko on the mast and stern...

"Everyone onboard knows the legend of the Cursed Island... About the petrified snake that guards a vast treasure... burning with liquid fire coming out of the eyes any treasure seaker... Nobody is said to left Cursed island alive...
Captain says that's all myths of the natives, though treasure really exists. He claims that now actually possesses the map that will get us there...
Late afternoon tomorrow, we'll head for the island. We're thrilled but a bit scared also...
It's a 16-17 hours journey with favourable winds, Captain says. And we'll sail during the night for avoiding Spanish Men of War or other Pirates while passing through the Canary's.
By noon the day after tomorrow, God's will, we'll be there..."
Cabin & dock at Pirates cove, North of Canaria isls, a place pretty much unknown and uncharted...

    Dolphins playing near the boad...

    FSX or FS9?
    PLEEZE say FS9?

    Cheers,
    Robin
(patiently awaiting a home port & dingy to get there from my mooring)

    Sorry, it's FSX only (I don't have FS9). All scenery & simobjects (dolphins/birds)
    are native FSX (installed).

Furthermore, this adventure is not a scenery. It's an FSX Mission with
"adventure track" (music), dialogues & random events happening.

Oh, silly me, these posts in a FS2004 forum confused me, I was thinking, looking at the title.. HMS Bounty Project 17th century Harbour scenery - FS9/FSX that it would be for both.

So, just to confirm,,, Are we FS2004'ers then NOT going to get 17th century Harbour scenery nor the dingy ?

    Happiness ..

Yes you will be getting those items, my friend - they are designed and built specifically for your favourite sim (and that of some great buddies and self)!

xpelekis was referring to items in his screenshots!

    Happiness, Robin???

    Halfway towards the "Cursed" island...

Now, how a 1.5 day trip (out & return) will fit in an hour's sailing mission ?... well, it will.
A bit of tobacco & alcohol may help also...

I'm almost finishing with the first Sea Adventure for Bounty (FSX Mission)...

Could I request for a cannon ball simobject ? Just a black sphere of 20cm
diameter (just model & texture files).
Only reason I request this is because I guess it's very easy to be made...

    Thank's anyway.

Just wondering if this project might make it out of the yard this winter..?
I realize real life work takes precedent.

    In short, Seahawk72s; YES. :-)

As will the Bounty Launch...and other things.

My apologies to all those waiting for so long - too many fingers in too many pies, as they say.

Oxygen bump! Winter is getting long in the tooth with Spring just 11 days away ... Does that mean release is imminent?

    Thank you Jorge and Bear,

This project was one of the most interesting and challenging projects I have worked on and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Thanks to Rob Barendregt and Nigel Richards, the project came to life and worked with the wind in ways I thought were not possible.

Rob's programming and Nigel's textures and sounds really made the project.

Great stuff for which I am most appreciative.

There may be another ship project in the future. Thinking HMS Victory ... but would have to be FSX native.

    Me too...
I must admit I did get a bit of a flutter when I saw HMS Bounty popped up in the 'Last Post' list!

How about a clipper like Cutty Sark or Thermopylae? IMHO the most beautiful sailing vessels ever and Cutty Sark rose from her ashes.

As Pink Floyd once said (sang?)… 'is there anybody out there?'

Any news on the Bounty Harbour scenery?
