If this is the 'old' JF Tiger Moth then as far as I know it's FSX compatible but not FSX Native. Still it's a nice model at a very decent price, as long as you know what you're getting. I'm not a JF hater BTW - very happy Hurricane and Chipmunk owner.

No.. my £5 is safe too. Fortunately.. Ant's Tiggie is more than good enough.. it has gallons of paints and.. it's free If you're mad on having one with floats or ski's, the JF model may be what you're looking for (at an additional cost).

Ant's Tiger Moth, with its clip board for chocks etc is very nice, but to me the JF undercarriage is more convincing and it also has the original tail skid rather than a restoration tail wheel.

If I may be so bold.. the rear wheel isn't exactly 'Restoration'. It's appeared on Tiggies since the 40's Also.. like the Mini (the real one).. it has had so many variations on the theme (the main gear being one such variation).. it's nearly impossible to nail exactly how one should look. Best you can do is go for one model at one point in time and wing-it for the rest

I got it. The Canadian version goes great with the Flight Ontario BCATP scenery I installed not too long ago.

I'm very happy to forfeit a Subway Sandwich and become the proud owner of a second mighty fine Tiger Moth. I took 'Hotel Sierra' and a good set of thermal underwear to the Isle of Man and had a nostalgic flight through the hills and past Laxey Wheel... Nostalgic for me because my parents had their honeymoon and subsequently many a holiday on the island. My Mother had a pleasure flight in this type in 1938. How time flies!

That's a Fox Moth, not a Tiger Moth Dave. Close enough though

Must try and reinstall the ES IoM to see what happens after the demise of EarthSims. Will it or won't it!:-o

    Dave T - There's a Fox Moth, and a repaint for G-ACCB here: http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib....4236982&page=2

DaveB - I don't think many Tigers were built with tailwheels, but we'll agree to differ on which we prefer.

    Yo Davey H..

I made a point of consulting one of the many tomes I have by A.J. Jackson.. in this case De Havilland Aircraft since 1909.. before committing to print.. mindful of the signature used by one of our members at CBFS.. It's better to be thought a fool than open your mouth and prove it This said.. I honestly don't know what numbers we're talking about here and as far as personal preference goes.. no one is wrong

Y'all have a good day now ya here

I saw that on the wall of a briefing room in an old film about Bomber Command and liked it enough to put it up on my classroom wall. Shortly before an Ofsted, however, management declared it "offensive" and I was told to remove it. Quite a few of the pupils liked it, though, some of them enough to copy it into their homework diaries.

Against stupidity, the gods themselves battle in vain!

Spot on Dave, a slip of the Moth! Very interesting mod. though eh...

Re. Earth Simulations, there's a work around that enables you to download the ESI Packs to local HDD. Must admit I haven't tried an 'offline' reinstall yet. https://earthsims.uservoice.com/know...your-purchases
