WIP, trying to find good "Walkaround" images has been sparse. I was hoping to find some closeups of decals, etc. but no luck thus far.

I've tweaked the flight dynamics. Provided I can get the authors' permissionl I will make it available to those who wish an updated set of files.
If anyone knows how to contact Robert Richardson please PM me with the info. Thanks.
Another shot. . . . .getting closer.
Flying this aircraft makes me feel like George Jetson!
Thanks Rob.

Thanks RR! Great plane. Shot this pic at the South Dakota Air and Space Museum in early 2010. Is this a B? Can't see the engine nacelle ends...

Another beautiful model from Mr. Richardson. Its models like this that are making me think, seriously, about at least tiptoeing in to FSX.

...things will go as they will; and there's no use hurrying to meet them.
The Official Air Force U-3A was the version that Peter has done for Rob's 310B. It was the nickname given to it by pilots when they were first delivered. The one in your photo appears to be someones attempt at an Air Force version. I think the Navy had a version that was all white, but the Air Force was deep blue, the Army had some that were a light blue and the AF Reserves also had the light blue version.
I was able to divert my frustration with having lost most of the livery I was working on by attempting another shot at it. If anyone else has started this. . .please continue and this will be my personal steed, lol. If no one has taken it on within a few days then I'll consider releasing it. Since I said I wasn't going to restart I won't step on anyone's toes if they are working on a new one.
She looks nice, Ed!

I have Rob's 310B and 310C versions of this Cessna. One was done in 2013 and then this new one 310Q came out. Is the difference appreciable.
Would like to just combine one Cessna 310 folder and integrate both 310b and 310q into one folder.
Edit:
I noticed in the Cessna 310B in texture.1 folder there is an aircraft.cfg file and the header reads:
fltsim.0]
title=Cessna 310 L <<<<<< Was there ever an L model available?
sim=Cessna 310 L
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=
kb_checklists=
It is extremely unlikely that you will be able to do that as there are probably too many differences between the models. For a start the air files and cfg file performance values would be different to reflect the different engines and aerodynamics and any changes to the mapping would mean that textures for one version won't fit the other.
If you were just trying to save space then you wouldn't have saved that much anyway even if it were possible.

Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.
There is also a 310Q by Brett Henderson (available @ simviation)
i don't believe anyone has done a 310C.
310Q, FSX FSND
Brett and Alejandro, to be exact.
Available here (better download speed; scroll down):

IIRC, Brett has real world experience on all the GA aircraft he has made or contributed to, so his 310Q's flight dynamics might be an alternative to Rob's original ones.
Have just uploaded the US ARMY paint to FlightSim.com. Should be available either later today or tomorrow.
Good to see that you went back to the AFRES paint Ed. That saves me a job!
Cheers, Peter
