A STUPID QUESTION about MDL Placement

I have created a new sign with sketchup, and then moved it over to Model converter X, and finally to save. I am now left with an MDL file.
I am use to working with BGL files to add objects to FSX so I can place them in ADEX.

My question is where do I place the MDL file in FSX, so ADEX will recognize the object, as well as allowing it to be seen in FSX.
    Thank you.
    Amanda.

Ahhhh, you didn't read everything I sent you, lol. You can also save as a bgl file by using the "Export Scenery" option rather than the "Export Object" function.

In ADE, click on the List menu then Models. You can then add the model to the list of things ADE will place. I put the model in my ADE working directory. It will imbed the model into the airport bgl. Make sure you place the textures for the model into the airports texture directory.

And remember that the only REALLY stupid question is the one you never ask.
Expect banging, belching and an occasional manly fart as you roar down the runway at full power. (I have found that the engine can make similar noises)

    I'll remember that.
I have the sign showing up in FSX. But I have one small problem with it. The sign face keeps distorting. Any one know why this might happen.?

Not sure what you mean (s screenshot would help here), but it might be that your texture is not in a squared resolution. You need 256x256, or 512x512 sizes, for example.

    Cheers,
    Mark
