    FS9 VA-164 Ghost Riders 1st LADY JESSIE.zip

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Skins

Description: FS9 textures only for the RAZBAM Douglas A-4E. This repaint is of the A-4E (152048s) of VA-164 Ghostriders, the mount of LCDR Dick Perry that first carried the name "LADY JESSIE". Perry worked for Mrs. Jessie Beck, the namesake of his aircraft, as a card dealer in Reno during his college days, and of whom he said was like his 2nd mother. LCDR Perry was KIA in 1967 when a SAM hit his A-4 over Hiaphong. Since that time and until the squadron, VA-164 Ghost Riders, was disestablished on 12/12/75, the VA-164 CO's aircraft carried the name "LADY JESSIE" to honor both LCDR Perry, a squadron favorite, and Mrs. Jessie Beck, who adopted the squadron members as her own family. Although there is some debate over the actual number of aircraft that carried the name, it is generally accepted that at least 5 and possibly as many as 7 VA-164 aircraft carried the name "LADY JESSIE".

Model and paintkit by RAZBAM. Repaint by Steve Bryant December 2013.
