    Sun Glow by Pablo Diaz!

    Hi,

Pablo Diaz - well known for his great freeware HDE clouds - has created something new:

New Sun Glow and sky colors

You can find the download here: HDE Sun (Beta)

It's still a beta version but it works flawless and the result is truly amazing!

    Greetings
    Tim

I hope he turns his eye towards sorting out the crappy water in FS.

WWI started because some bloke called Archie Duke shot an ostrich because he was hungry.

True. I use the payware Zinertek Ultimate water, and find it to be very good. But a freeware water created by someone like Pablo would be excellent, as all of his addons seem to be.

I have a second FS9 sim, using only freeware.
It's starting to look better than my fully loaded version!

My FS9 installs are all freeware based in terms of mesh, clouds, ground textures...and it looks as good as some payware based screenshots I have seen. Granted, there are some whose payware filled screenshots make my freeware shots look like crap...but those are getting fewer and farther between.

Will have to add Pablo's sun to my installs for sure.

    That new effect looks nice.

Would like to see someone could come up with a cure for aircraft recieving excessive dusk or dawn light on the aircraft after the sun is well down behind the earth. Even at midnight the planes are lit up to much to look real. Even the light scource from cities below on the underside of the wings the plane are a little too bright.

A combination of Pablo's clouds, his sun glow and various other FS9 enhancements produced this shot:ernae:

I'm with the FAA and I'm here to help you.....................Now gimme a hug!

I installed the new Sun HDE package into my three installs...and all I can say are WOW! Sunset and sunrise have never looked better in the sim....and with no impact on frame rates.

This man deserves an award! Unbelievable. I actually had to bring my wife over to the computer to have a look after I installed everything including the dawn textures. A quick early morning flight will never be the same again.
