Might Still Be Some Life Left in the ol' CDM after all

I've been mucking about with ol' FSD Cessna 337 Skymaster which has been looking a bit dated for quite a while. This is the first in sim progress check. Still has a ways to go yet, but I'm thinking with new upsized from FS9 spec textures, it'll have a whole new look.

Oh, and CDM = Flight 19 speak for "Cessna Death Machine".

Willy, this great aircraft deserves your expertise and attention. Anything you do for her is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Tom! I've went a bit different on the way the stripes are laid out while keeping those colors. Already thinking on the next one.

I haven't seen this aircraft in ages! Thanks for posting this, so tried the O-2 in P3Dv3 and switches work so it's a keeper. To get the gauges to work, go into 2d cockpit mode, then back to 3d cockpit. Hot spots clicks work also.

I couldn't get the FSX version of the O-2 to even load up in FSX Steam until I switched it over to use the FS9 version gauges instead. Something in that FSX .dll gauge file would cause FS to crash to desk top within 2 seconds of selecting it from the menu. Works great with the FS9 gauges though and I've been flying it online during our nightly flights. The civilian 337s worked great as is.

Thanks for posting this! I also have it and gave up on it when I was still using FSX.
I will give it a try in P3D!

    Latest Evolution

Decided that it had way too much white on it, so I went off in a different direction with the same colors (new one added). I like this one, but there's still something that's not quite sitting right with me on it besides the alpha on the white needing some more toning down.

Just uploaded it to the library here and it's available now. Just keep in mind that it's for the FSD 337H and not the other one from those other guys.

Got a couple more paint ideas for the 337H to work out...
