F1 has reached the summer break.

Lewis must have had a quite boring race at Hockenheim. He was in the lead from turn one and the only cars he overtook, where those he lapped. With his fourth place behind both Red Bulls Nico must have felt lousy.

It seems Red Bull is closing the gap with Mercedes and they took second place in the constructor's championship. I think some people will loose their job in the Ferrari team soon......

    Cheers,
    Huub

Out of sheer frustration (MotoGP is on a Summer break!) I've taken up watching GP3 and the World Speedway Championship..........
My enthusiasm for F1 has hit an all time low Huub, and the Speedway bikes have piqued my interest.
Takes me back to warm Summer Saturday nights at 'Tracey's Speedway' with my brothers and my Dad, only for the programs when bikes and 'proper' speedway cars were on the bill.

Meanwhile the first test of the new and wider 2017 Pirelli tyre is underway, with a modified Ferrari to adjust downforce to next year's level:

I managed to get streamed coverage all three GP3 races at Spa as well as two edited sessions (four hours each) of the 24 Hour GT race, highly entertaining and was it ever wet for the first GP3 race!!!
The pucker factor created by the behavior of GT cars running three abreast in damp conditions was well in the Red Zone.

I doubt he has any to go to Ed.
The usual Muppets are pre-occupied with the usual suspects but I give up trying to make sense of their ramblings.
Far more exciting is the 'possible' Ducati ride for Casey Stoner in the Australian MotoGP!

Interesting response by Lewis recently about criticism of his lifestyle.....To paraphrase, he truly believes that each day could be your last so why not live life with no regrets....
