Looking Good Roman. Not sure you need those drop tanks though.

"Providence Permittin"
Not a bad little morning run. Had to do a 360 above the bay to get in the green area to lower the gear - otherwise,, pretty good although was skirting the "puffies" to get any visual of Santa Isabel. The skies are starting to show the edge of the T-Storms that I will be going through later this morn.

After a quick draining & refilling of the "tank" will be off to Munda (AGGM). That would be coffee.
"Skirting" the "Puffies"
Made it to Munda (AGGM) - A little different procedure, now that distances are greater, to get the speed up.
Off to Ballalae (AGGE) after another tank empty - Will have to get that looked into. Edit - This is going to take me right into the heart of the nastiness. Bringing the puke bag along.
Skirting with the stall (wings buffeting) just a bit high resulted in the well known "Bouncy-Bounce".

Made it to Ballalae (AGGE), Bougainville Islands. Never did get the WX that I have should've - nuttin but thick clouds. My abacus skills went bad, after calculating a decent point, starting the descent, ended up busting out of the cover & waaaaay short of the island - maybe my watch needs winding. Keeping it going, a little planning then off to the main island of Bougainville & Buka (AYBK). Woo Hoo! An ADF!
Playing Russian Roulette with the trees - coming in a little hot.
The bouncy bounce wasn't nearly as bad this time.

It was a good run. Going to reset then onward & upward to Malekolon (MKO).
It's "HOT as Hades" up above the clouds with the sun blazing down!
Turning a hard final after the Buka NDB, all slowed up on time.
It's been a long time since the smell of tire smoke. A 2 point greaser.
FlightLog_08-28-26.TXT
Once again math bit me,, badly.. Ended up on the deck 4 minutes prior. Then on final had to do some "yankin 'n banking" to slow down further adding time. EDIT - "You gotta keep on keepin on, Dig it" - Joe Dirt. Off to Tokua (AYTK), hopefully a little better.
FlightLog_09-11-17.TXT
Made it to Tokua, Rabaul. Didn't think the run was too bad but the resulting avg. ground speed fell off by 40 kts. ??? One more leg to Jacquinot Bay (JCB) for this morning then a little break.
90% humidity = PUFFIES! Not good on a -4500 fpm descent.
Nice little airport here @ Rabaul.
Have been all around the world and........ KEEP RUNNING INTO THIS SAME GROUP! LOL - The last time, I believe, was the MacRobertson.
Is that Miss Nellie? Damn...
OOPS! Forgot the goods.
FlightLog_09-55-19.TXT
That's enough for a few hours.. Not too bad of a run..
PUFFIES! - There's puffies all over! Not good when descending through mountains.
That definitely isn't a bogie. Forgot to turn off traffic..
MMM. Smells good, time for lunch. Native Style.'

It was great being back with some 'ol friends. It's been almost 2 months! The "Saturday afternoon/evening special" depending on the side of "the pond", showed up in spades on MP. Ron, Mike, Jeff, Klas, Josh (not in run) & myself.
Here's a link to screenshots, from Jacquinot Bay to Hayfield, of the flights. (too many to show at once)
