Yeah - I have to agree a bit. The foot or so of liner distance between the rear edge of the radome and the front of the windscreen appears to be tapering down, the way it does in the E, whereas it was almost flat ( in relation to the way the bottom of the nose just aft of the radome projects, slightly downard) on the B/C/D/J/N/S. Meaning the radius/height of the radome may be a bit small/short.

Nothing horrid or worth getting worked up about - just appears to be something a wee bit off. Of course, I could be wrong, there's photo angles, depth of field, etc. Could just me my eyes.

Anyway - looking forward to this in a big way!

I've seen the model and I hope they leave that bit alone... looks just fine to me.

I took some pictures of the front end of an F4J(uk) at a Museum I visited recently... you can plainly see in the edited and unedited version below that the fuselage is not flat in front of the nose wheel door... there is a slight curve, (if not a slope) down to the radome.... The Milviz model seems to replicate that nicely.

The top does also seem to slope down slightly and model seems to be ok on that front too.

Down to the short strokes on the VF84 'Jolly Roger' Livery:

Sneaked a smoke effect into the aircraft.cfg just for this photo-op

Brian... I've just tried the latest version of the VF84 paint you sent and its absolutely superb. Apart from adding crew names to right side of canopy frame its good to go.

I didn't see any instructions from Milviz about how to submit finished paints to them... maybe they could let us know? I cant wait to see this texture applied to the finished model with bump and spec maps cause it looks great even as it is.

Don't forget to paint the pylons guys. Still seeing some USAF Brown

Thanks Diego for the heads up. I have two submissions. They are from the VF-151 including 200 and 216. Pylons should look better now.

The featured USS Midway in a thread here should work nicely with these offerings.

Looks good. You can also paint the helmets if wanted.

Looking into what the actual helmets looked like. Will do for sure.

Here is the first for VF-151 216

Per Colin's post in the Milviz forums, submit the completed textures in a zip file to kat at milviz.com

I did the pylons. That's yellow to match the rest of the trim.... and thanks! Kat has it now if you want to look at the texture in detail. Happen to accommodate any changes if desired.

Gotcha. Just never seen yellow trim on a VF-84 Phantom.

Hmmmm... actually, neither have I. I don't know how I got it into my head that there was yellow trim on those pylons. Consider it gone from the next iteration.
