The B-314 replica of the Foynes Flying Boats museum was build by an american filmset designer who was in close contact with Boeing during the build, according to thousands of photos and drawings that...
Sorry to have to swoop down onto this ol' Pilot's product again but i'm getting fed up with all these small 'updates' where i have to refill in my name, my email address, my password, my product...
Ok, heywooody, i do see your point but i cannot share it. If a developer launces a totally unfinished and uncared for product into the MSFS waters for free that's fine. We can all have a laugh about...
Did you buy the initial Clipper package, heywoood ? If you did what did you think about it ?
I don't think the subject of an aircraft model being extinct or still alive and flying has anything to...
@ Tom:
You know what, your post cannot be quoted either ( obviously...) :)
Thanks Tom, yeah you told me that before but you know what (2), in one test i used only the last line of Carls post...
Tell me about it, dvj. I was in love with that thing already in FS9 when it was first released by the devs who flew the real Tweet. I recall it had the same quality in FS9 as for instance the AN-2...
There you go, Carl, what else do you need, éh ?.. :)
(btw, your post can't be edited, that happens sometimes here, i borrowed your quote line from another post. ;-)
Even if the Clipper model...
HeyHeyWood, aren't you going a bit overboard (to stay on topic) with the 'constant flaming and bashing' ?...
Constant ?... Where's the flaming and bashing with for instance the recently released...
That's certainly true, Paul. But i think we can safely say that the situation with Pilot's Clipper is abnormal. The release was abnormal, therefore the reviews were abnormal, ipso facto Jerome's...
I would've asked for a refund within *10* minutes ! Like just about all of Jerome's rather childish atempts to blame a reviewer for the way his botched Clipper product is presented is nothing more...
Hehe... yes... wasn't it Stearmendriver who got the accolades and Stearman948713 that did the actual contactpoints mod ? :)
In any case very thankful to the real deal, i can now look and admire...
That's because you buy them all and too quickly :)
'Perfect upon purchase' maybe not but when have you seen a new model bouncing around upon its wheels or floats at first load or engines starting...
Dean, don't forget what this is all about.
This is about a developer that sees absolutely no problem in releasing an MSFS aircraft model with totally wrong contact points and engines running...
I got the impression that, after the update, 'the green' in the VC would've been replaced with a bit 'easier on the eyes' color..... I finally bought the B314 package yesterday but don't see much...
Yep, going to cost $60, as i've seen Jerome write somewhere.. I love 'The Clipper' but alas not so much this MSFS version, yet... Although i DO like the external model very much. Then again the...
Thank you very much, cmiksch and Ralf ! :encouragement:
According to the video that Stearman sent along that *does* seem to take care of the awkward taxi behaviour. Great ! :applause:
Btw, love...
What, a.o., keeps me from buying the Clipper is the "hoppin and boppin style" of taxiing. That looks particularly awkward to me. That poor big waterbird is clearly not happy ! It should be gently and...
Magnificent screenshot for one thing ! :encouragement:
