Bear in mind, the DLC folder is for payware addons from Steam in particular. Other payware, and freeware, should go in the right ...FSX\Simobjects\ folder....

Bear in mind, the DLC folder is for payware addons from Steam in particular. Other payware, and freeware, should go in the right ...FSX\Simobjects\ folder....
Look under you main FSX folder for a folder named DLC. If it's a payware aircraft bought from Steam, that's where the installer will place it. If it doesn't exist, the installer should create it.
