NOTAM...The HUD is not collimated. Just so you know before you buy.
Just a thought, sounds like there are two community folders. One from original install and one from the reinstall.
Hey guys, slow down and look. I found everything I wanted and had been using. It just looks different. You can find it too.
The Connie was out of date. Never saw any notice of updates. Thanks to Addon Linker for making troubleshooting much easier.
Installed the Staggerwing and now the Bendix radios display is grossly out of scale and position. It affects the Waco and maybe more.
I saw this fix somewhere and can't remember how it was fixed....
Icing affects HUD display. The combiner glass is inside the canopy and shouldn't be affected. Haven't seen any comment on this.
I am sure enjoying this model a bunch.
I speak for my own sys. All SSD with MSFS installed on one 1T drive. I have a lot of ORBX and put it all on a different 1T drive. Putting the sim in a directory without a long file path precludes...
Are we trying to fly tailwheel with a nose gear view point?
Perhaps we need schooling? Study these, especially pt 1. Where differences are explained. I am.

Yes it is pathetic at best.
I set my rudder sensitivity to -70. Tamed it nicely for me.
I cannot get the AP to engage. I setup a flight plan and have a magenta line on GPS. Airborne and on course manually and NAV, HDG, nor ALT do anything. I see no AP switch either.
Manual is no...
Done with Captainsim. No more.
Yes, I am one who had severe control issues. However I am not new to simming by any stretch.
Make sure your control setup is NOT set for 'Legacy'.
Somehow my setting was and seeing the familiar...
With no input from me, hands off, the acft bounce left wing down to right wing down nose up nose down like a drunken pilot. Added a 10% dead zone to rule out jitters in axes.
Did not help.
I am experiencing terrible instability with some acft. The Baron and King Air are nearly unflyable. Airbus and Cessnas are solid. Flying with no weather. Increased dead zones on my Warthog. Went...
I am so sorry Nick. It is the best I can do. Perhaps you can give us an idiot's guide to find the registry entry as requested?
You can find instructions on Tech Support Forum at HiFi Simulation. For me to guide you would be the blind leading the blind. The Windows registry is no place for guessing.
I recall from HiFi Sim forum, there is a registry entry that Windows 10 like to put on disregard. So you go in and delete the registry entry. I apologize that I cannot find that reference again...
Haven't run anything else since P3Dv4 released and FSX been gone for over a year now. Looking forward to what comes next.
TrackIR is way cool and requires a special camera mounted in front of the reflective targets. Recommend you visit them at: Naturalpoint.com
I use the TrackIR 5 and would never fly without it.
I sympathize with you, and apologize ahead of time but, I got to have this one too.
I think you hit upon the problem in your comment about static electricity and having to ground yourself. My son had some anomalies that he thought was static related. So, we connected all the cases...
My Warthog works just fine. I moved on to W10 and have not installed any TM software. In P3Dv3, controllers are not enabled and all calibration and programming is by FSUIPC.
As a last thought,...
WOW!!! The texture in these pics is the best yet. I stand all amazed.
Yes you are correct Grey Eagle. And Milviz says this is an E model with a radome change. It is intended to just look a bit like a Navy jet. So other than the radome it is all USAF.
I also quit dealing with them after insulting language. Which came after having problems working their purchasing system. Moving on...
