Nope. the tail number is not ficticious; it was the tail code for RDAF service. The orange nose was day-glo in RDAF service. Go to planepictures.net/search and search "K-683".
Marc
Isn't this one of the RDAF Dakotas? Seems to me the K- number indicates that,

I'd like to add my best wishes, too. Living and working close to the VA hospital in ATL keeps me concerned for all our vets...

Also, love the FJ-4 (F-1E, post '62). That tall skinny tail is so cool.

Love the Viggie myself. However, when I was a student pilot, flying out of Bolton Field,, Columbus, OH, I used to have to be put into the pattern with them at KCMH. Pretty intimidating, I'll...
Should also have mentioned that a Gulfstream I shows up at the end of the Michael Caine/Steve Martin movie "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels."
Marc
Nope, certainly not just you...they have a fascinating similarity, particularly to the GII (which in company parlance is called the G1159). I see the jets all the time operating out of KPDK here in...
Don't know if I've ever seen a bow as a response to a salute before; sort of cool!
I'm not quite sure, but it seems highly likely to me that the fellow on the service vehicle is not nearly as close as he might appear at first glance. I mean the props were probably at least eight...

Guys,
I was at Rob Richardson's site and all of his a/c have been converted to FSX.se. Will they now NOT load into regular FSX?
Marc
I've loved this aircraft ever since I built the 1/72nd scale model when I was a kid...
GREAT JOB! :very_drunk:
Marc
That's just got to be the UIVER offering. BUT, since we're on the subject...
Is there an upgrade for the FS9 one to convert it to FSX?
Marc
This thing is going to be fantastic!! I can't wait to fly it along with the Koolhoven and the D.XXI! :very_drunk:
Marc
Or maybe an inline-fitted Sportster? Kinda tough!
Marc
Is it a Rearwin Speedster?
Marc
Looking GRRREEEEAAAAT!
Marc
Even though it's a bit like a shoebox with wings, I've always like the way this thing looks...
Marc
Doesn't seem to still be there...
When I open up the website it only loads down to the DH 125. Has the F-106 been removed?
Marc
Swept tailfin started with the 310D; the 310C had upgraded 265 h.p. engines.
Is it maybe an early Cessna?
Marc
Beautiful!
Rob has put an original Cessna 310B (straight tail, upright tanks) on his website. Flies great!
