Sorry it took me forever to upload these JimJones! This was shortly before COVID shut everything down. I believe it was my last trip out with the airplane. I always tell folks a funny story about...
Very neat! Bowman was the last stop with the B-17 I worked before we shut down from COVID and the plane went back to Madras. I'll have to post some photos later!

Hey Tom. Understandable folks don't want one more streaming service than they already have lol. What I tell folks is just wait till they all air, then do the 7 day free trial, and then cancel it...
Well Javis, I have some good news, and I have some bad news.
The bad news, expect "some" CGI. The fact is there were no REAL B-17's used in the filming. However, they made 2 full scale mockups...
Well... It has been a loooooooooong time coming, but it looks like the wait may have been worth it. Trailer looks amazing.

Obviously will be following this one closely. For those of you keeping score at home, 2024 is going to be a big year for B-17 fans.
-Masters of the Air comes out
-New sims from Microprose...
Have you ever considered how good of an RC pilot you would be if you could use your PC Joystick?!?!? I could do all kinds of aerobatics!! It is hard for me to take the joystick movements and move...
I would say in all sims prior to the latest MSFS, 90% of my flying was done from the "Tower View". I absolutely miss the Tower view, which in essence was a type of fly-by view I suppose!!!!
Our "COD" has been slowly undergoing the process to get her airborne. She was donated several years ago on the agreement that she would be kept airworthy. So little by little she getting closer to...
I *cough* know some people that *cough* would be really interested in having a B-25 in the simulator. :mixed-smiley-010:
Photo from today in Urbana, OH. They are building a "training cockpit" for...
I still think (B25) a WWII medium range bomber would be all the rage. Something in the (B25) twin engine range maybe. Something with a lot of repaint possibilities maybe (B25) and maybe something...
Oh I got it I got it... A Flying Flea!!!!
[edit] Dang it I was too late!!! lol
Pietenpol??
With the Legends and Famous Flyers coming out.... Check out this photo from Bendix.... What's missing in the sim??????????????
I'm a broken record I know... But a B-25 really would be pretty...
Yeah, I really didn't have any problem with the FPS drop until that base to final. I have a mid-range PC I would say but it really got hairy at the end. Dropping that much altitude and airspeed...
..it was pretty amazing....
Even though it was a last minute decision, my brother and I decided we would try to do the FISK Arrival into Simventure this year hosted by PilotEdge. Scanning through...

I'm pretty sure Bomber sold his soul to some kind of deity in order to take those screenshots :playful:

Your release of this paint scheme reminded me of an entry in my grandfather's war diary. This is dated July 17, 1944....
"17 Jul. Headed for Berlin but ran into very bad weather...
Well Tom, we may take some to build up to that large of an airport :biggrin-new:. But I would be curious now that he finished the first scenery how much design time decreases with the next one.
I whole heatedly agree. I think that would be a brilliant airport to do.
Troy would be a great idea. I'm only about 30 min from the airport and there is only a couple of buildings. Plus the RC airfield that shares the same space. We have actually flown into there in our...
1- Absolutely agree. Especially if we go forward with Red Stewart Airfield, as it is an all grass strip. One of the busiest grass strips in the US I can imagine. It is a great airport to fly into,...
So my brother spent a good amount of time learning through trial and error how to build everything up in Blender. Then once it as built in Blender, began the process of putting it in the game, which...
With the release of our Grimes (I74) scenery, my brother & I are considering another project. My question is this; what would YOU, the pilot, like to see in a freeware scenery release? Let us...
