    Its going to take time but I working on rebuilding all of the stock inf.bgl in gmax to add texture to the lowest LODs.

    Looks like some one forgot to make the craters transparent via material on the last LOD. The square look like a shadow. If the material for all LODs are given some transparency (even 1%) the game won't make a shadow for the object.

    The cfs2afd.bgl has the starting points for FF and QC. allrunways.BGL places the runways on the ground. airbases.dat has the starting point for missions. Keys for loading and saving GSL. Below is mb_main_backgrnd.jpg that has layout and GSL load and save keys. Put it in the \UIRES\MB. It replace the stock mb_main_backgrnd.jpg.

    Also I have updated the Lancaster B Mk.I. Fixed errors with model and DP. I add guns to the top gun turret that I had some how forgotten about and updated the model to add 2 more guns to the tail turret.

    A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Aircraft - British Description: This rebuild of the AlphaSim Dambuster's Lancaster B Mk.III converts it to a Bristol Hercule radial engine Lancaster B Mk.II. Come with most of the bells and whistles like animated parts and breaking parts. Model is Multi LOD. Includes needed bombs.     I put the Select_By_Material.MS into C:\gmax\scripts\Startup. This lets the script run if I start FS2002 or FS2004 gamepack. Next I went to Customize than Customize User Interface. In the Customize User Interface window find Select By Material. Click on it than click on the Hotkey: box. put in some key. I used Shift+S and click Assign. However this dosen't seem to do what I think it should. It only slecting a few obejcts and leaves a ton of duplicated material with the same name and .bmps unselected. Dealing with materials that are not used is simple. Find the material that has no object in side of the brackets. Double click on it to open the Material Editor window than hit Delete.

    Was able to with the weapons.bgl when I updated the US bombs but not so with the inf.bgl *deathstare.png* It compiles and shows in Model Conveter X but CFS2 kicks model can't be displayed and give the Guid number of the crater I tired to update. I do want to one day update all of the stock Inf objects so the last LOD on them have texture. Some just change to the last LOD that is un-texture so quickly that it looks bad. The inf_large_pillbox and inf_barracksb are the worst offinders I know of off hand but rebuilding all 68 objects dosen't sound like fun.

    Got you mail the other day but go distracted with a few things. Should have the Lanc Mk.II done soon as it needs a quick DP hitbox change done for the rad engines. Need to update the basic Mk.I with the new bombs and fix the DP and model. The DP is lacking guns for the top tur and the model dosn't have 4 guns in the tail tur, it only has 2 guns in the tail tur.

    My BGL Analyze is version Are you using a newer one? SCASM is from sca296. EDIT: Looks like I needed to add Set( BUF 8192 ) Set( areamx 8192 ) Set( LINBUF 8192)

    Stock craters are square or more more accurately flat top pyramid. LOD 100 to 25 are textured and LOD 10 is just a brown flat top pyramid. Also I can't seem to edit the stock. inf.bgl. SCASM kicks an error when I try to make it back to a .bgl from a .sca. Can't get SCASM to repack the stock inf.bgl once BGL Analyze as made it to a .sca. Not sure if BGL Analyze is causing an error when it convets from .bgl to .sca

    Don't think there is a fix for the square bomb craters look as the lower LODs are not texture. Many of the CFS2 objects are set up this way.

    You didn't answer my question in my first reply. I asked what is it you're trying to achieve? Besides the Ta-152 having a higher service ceiling, how else do you distinguish between the flight dynamics of the two aircraft? What's the difference in your view?

    You'll have to be more specific. Besides the Ta-152 having a higher service ceiling, what other characteristics distinguished the flight dynamics of a Ta-152 from that of the Fw-190?

    Airfiles are not my department I guess. Sorry. When I cant find an AIR file for a similar AC, I usually ask Bearcat241 for assistance. He's an expert.
