Thanks downloading now. Must have missed this one way back when. Just started using fs9 again, and cfs3, now that fsx is working well on the new equipment, wanted to see how the other sims and accesories worked on this better pc, and they work quite well. Thanks for the heads up.:friday:

As long as we are talking racer aircraft, how about the DGA-6. Only if it flies like it did and not like a J-3 Cub.

    Hey All,

How about the extremely rare almost never seen Cessna 170/180/185 series of taildraggers? So rare in fact that nobody has ever seen one on amphibs in FS.

and they all rode horses-that is all but one.
When he went to the rescue he flew a Cessna plane.

    :amen: & :amen:

Although the Abacus Cessna 185 is good and it is on straight floats the wheeled version undercarriage isn't modelled acurately.

The Convair Kingfish would be interesting to fly in a simulated flyoff with the A-12 (early version of the SR-71). Of coarse it never flew, however RCS models were made.

This is a complete NEW and IMPROVED Douglas DC-5 package. It includes the original model, new textures and new and improved flight dynamics by FSAviator. Included are improved textures for two KLM Subsidiary aircraft. This supercedes and replaces my KLM_DC-5.zip. This aircraft is designed to be used with the default FS9 DC-3 panel and gauges only. Repaint and mods by Wayne Tudor. Flight Dynamics by FSAviator and model by J.R. Lucariny.

Peperez has two CFS2 conversions of the DC-5 here at SOH:
    CFS2_Dc5_KLM.zip
    Dc5_Japan.zip
The Japanese paint job is a captured KLM aircraft evaluated by the Tachikawa Army Air Arsenal. I'm thinkin' the textures should work on the updated version Pointy posted.

I very surprised no one has ever tried doing a Bede BD-4 for Flight Simulator--ever. I would think it would be pretty simple; the only curved surfaces being the top edge of the wings and the wheels. I prefer the taildragger but the tri-geared version has its own panache to it as well.

I was also thinking what with this interest towards flying boats and all wouldn't it be cool to do Baloo's Seaduck from Talespin? For those who didn't see the cartoon think Fairchild C-82 that can float. Found the tech specs from an RC group but the proportions seem right

I flew a Aeronca Sedan on floats one time, best landing I ever made. It's fun to race the speedboats on takeoff, just life one float and say goodbye.
