    Morane D-3801 or MS-406

    Hi everybody,

I just came accross a message of one of our developers who's using Blender: he is in final stage (I guess) of a D-3801 (Swiss version of Morane MS-406), and it DOES LOOK BEAUTIFUL!

    Look: http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/thr...0/#post-739205

    Cheers!

Great news, thanks for sharing it! The aircraft surely isn't the most beautiful, I love to see that there are still people developing this kind of models.

    Cheers,

Nice work and agreed, not a 'pretty' aeroplane but I like it, at least it's not another Mustang or Messerschmitt!

    Hi everybody,

I am the developer of this Morane D-3801, made entirely with Blender. Thank you for your warm welcome...!

This project is part of an expansion for FSX and P3D which will include missions and existing Swiss airfields during World War II. The project is called "Swiss Military Pilot 1940-1950". It will be a payware, and will be available normally in the autumn of this year.

As I currently live in Ecuador, a country that has just experienced a terrible earthquake (7.8 magnitude on the Richter scale ...), I decided that most of the gains from the sale of this extension will be paid for the reconstruction of the coastal area of Ecuador ...

Thank you in advance to welcome the sale of the Morane ...

    Cheers,
    Chris

    Hi everyone,

The extension of the Morane D-3801 is on Mailsoft ... The version planned for P3Dv4 is being finalized and will also be on SimMakret, in some time!

    Good flights!

    Hi,
I think the D-3801 is not the Swiss version of the Morane MS-406 but the MS-410 (an evolution of MS-406) build under licence. Cockpit, instrumentation and motor (the same as the D520) are different. But, the model proposed is a very good one.

    Its based on the 406

You can read a loit about it here

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morane-Saulnier_M.S.406

French version text is more comprehensive

Apart that bought it yesterday- all went fine with swiss online shop.It includes also scenerys if you have the right base.Till now only up to P3D V3

Stunnind details alone this grills on the engine hood

    my 2 cents

Yes, i said she was an evolution. I have some knowledge of Morane Saulnier poducts. The D3801 is not a MS-406. The Swiss Air Force bought 2 MS-406 for test purposes, the D3801 is the Swiss version of the MS410 (75 MS406 were modified as MS410 after the fall of France for the French Air Force.
