    Bucket list rides...

Saw this question over on Facebook relating to R/C model aircraft, but it's relevant here, too. I know we all have our FS wishlists, but which full-size aircraft is on your "I want a ride" Bucket List??? And your preferences can refer to realistic possibilities, fantasy dream rides, and "if they still existed I'd go in a minute"...

    Mine are:

    1) Lockheed CF-104D Starfighter (pure, blinding speed)

    2) McD-D A-4F Skyhawk (for its nimbleness)

    3) Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX or Mosquito FB.VI (historicity)

    4) Antonov An-225 (sheer power)

    5) Ryan ST-A (the beauty of flight)

...and because it's my post I'm gonna cheat and add one more...

    6) Ultraflight Lazair ( Low 'n Slow fun)

    Rides I've had:

    B-25 Mitchell

    Boeing Stearman

AT-6 Texan/Harvard - several times (got a good amount of stick time in those)

DC-3 (one of the world's highest time examples)

Keeping it real... i.e. on a aircraft that is actually available for flights, I would love to do an L-39 Albatros intro flight like one of these:

I guess you could say I pretty much fulfilled that bucket list, way back in the early 70s. USN Phantoms, Buckeyes, Talons (USNTPS), Skyhawks, a Tomcat, and civilian-contract owned B-25 (Calspan Corp).

There were two other types I suited up for, but both times the aircraft had maintenance problems, and the flights were cancelled.

    RA-5C Vigilante, and A-6A Intruder.

Last flight I ever got was F/A-18D, while with VFA-106, around 1987 timeframe. NC

Like NC I've checked several off; F-100F in '67, a Christen Eagle in late 80's and the best of all, the F-16D on 17 June 2002. A few others come to mind as well:
    OV-10 Bronco
    O-1 Mohawk.

There's an outfit in the UK doing rides in a two-seat Spitfire for £2,750 and up. All contributions gratefully received...

I've been lucky in the past to have sampled over 250 types, but still hanker for the odd few.......B-25, Dassault Flamant, Pilatus P2, Sea Fury.

You guys are in big trouble now. When my wife hears what I'm doing, I'm blaming y'all! (There's a Berkut kit available and it's on my bucket list.)

You all have turned this into a "been there, done that" thread!

There's so many I'd be happy to take a spin in that I'd need more space and time than I've got here.

The only thing interesting (to me) that I've done is sit right seat on a DHC-3 on floats.

I just want to fly in a real Fokker (a real one, right?).

But a Su-27 (or any Flanker), Tu-95, Tu-22M3, Mil Harke and in general anything Russian would be very appreciated too!
