    USMC Dauntless Campaign

10 missions starting in August 1942 and ending Becember 1942.You will be flying 7 of the missions. In 3 missions you will be flying either an SBD or an Avneger, all others you will be flying the SBD.

I worked on this Campaign while doing my USMC Aces Camapaign so you will need that also for them to work.Since UT did new textures for USMC SBDs it inspired me to use them and finish the camapign ( I had only 1 mission left to do ).The missions are Historical.

If you want this campaign post in this thread and I will contact you and send it to you.

    Al,

It sounds great! Given the fact that iit is for the Pacific, I'm sure that many will appreciate it, even those who don't speak up. Just remember that the level of interest does not necessarily correlate with the number of posts.

    Yes, Please

Please do count me in on your campaign - but it really does deserve a full upload since there are so many out there that sticks to the "in-borne" PTO, and a novel campaign (there are not many campaigns that are bomber-based) will undoubtedly be in great demand. Let me compliment you on the incredibly high historic standard of all your campaigns - I've learned so much from all of them.

    Talon,

I thought about requesting it from you, but with the moving and not having a computer on which to fly them, I decided to pass this time.

I will pick it up after I get settled in Florida and you have globally released it.

Take care and have lots of fun exploring.

See you on the other side of your adventure and mine.

    Hey Talon,

I just got back from 18 days in Alaska and the Yukon - no internet or cellular - so I missed this opportunity. If you pick this up when you get back from wherever you have bopped off to, I'd like a copy of it. Thanks in advance buddy.
    Cheers,

Hmm, 107 views & only DD73 bothers to post anything.

Al, you were correct - we really are just a community of passive consumers" after all.

I for one would love to see a series of campaigns to fill out the long march up the Solomons & the isolation of Rabaul - but I would say that wouldn't I?

    That's the new generation UT.

When it comes to missions and Camapaigns they just expect it to be put up for them so they can download it,except for a few that show interest.Next you hear it's the downloads that show the interest.

If someone does something I'm interested in I always say so in their post.I appreciate what they have done and say Thank You.It's just a common Courtesy that many in here have forgotten over the years. But if they have a problem they will speakup, get the help to fix it and disappear without even a thank you.

I may just do what I did the last time with the USMC Bomber42 Camapaign.Just give it to people that speakup and want it.I know the silent ones probably won't like that.

    Talon,

Don't discount the role of people being away for the summer on holiday, although there is considerable truth there. Thank you. The pictures look very nice...I still can't believe you did 78 missions in ten days.

Thank you. It's just a common courtesy.
