    181 is a very heavy trade wind velocity! I have seen it in the 150 range a few times, but 181 might be as high as I have seen it.

    How many of you know that at the equator it is far more likely that the winds drop off in velocity as you climb? Here in the northern hemisphere, we are used to the winds increasing as we climb, but at the equator things tend to reverse.

    And another equatorial phenomenon - the closer to the equator the cheaper the beer ! Compare the price of a beer in Aruba with one in Anchorage !!
