    Clayton Air

The real world: I have no artistic talent, period. I also don’t like to pretend that I’m a Delta, United, or whatever pilot. So I take the layered paintkit, export it to 24 bit, put “N690TC” and “Operated by Clayton Air” on that using Paint, then convert that to a useable texture with DXTbmp.

The virtual world: Clayton Air would rather focus on service than flash. I buy my planes straight from the factory with a solid coat of white paint and slap on a registration. I operate charter flights wherever passengers want to go. I have something to fit every occasion, even an A380 for the CEO that wants to take every single manager to a Florida Panthers match. Today, it was a flock of snowbirds looking a dose of “Changes in Latitude” without having to learn another language, so today’s run was a trip about as far as you can go down the East Coast – Key West.

Yes, all my planes have the same reg – I can only fly one at a time, and it makes it easy for me to pick out when ATC is talking to me. And yes, I know that my reg is taken. It’s a 690 Turbo Commander, registered to a company in Texas. Pic:

It's hard to go wrong with a Spitfire.

... Indeed... A pleasant flight over Corsica, end of the day... and suddenly, big grey clouds !......

Funny how that happens with weather in FS!

I like the "smooth" look of that silver Spitfire... especially the first pic.

Weather... Big clouds and rising sunlights... And sometimes, indeed, surprising, unexpected...

Nice shots, Steve... That monster in the middle pic, the Mi8 Heavy.... that beast has quite a tricky FM, despite its slow lumbering appearance. If you don't watch your stuff, you're in for some surprises.

The Mi-6 is a great beast too fly, some good animations with it , just wish I could remember how too open the rear clamshell doors.

Hi Pete, I've been looking for that repaint on Garry's website but couldn't find it. Could you please point me in the right direction? Thanks!

It's one of Stalin's secret bases. I have been spending many hours planting Antonov's and Heli's with EZ scenery.

Here are a couple of shots from the past week or so, flying around in Syria.

I don't visit screenshot threads often, my BB speeds make it painful at best. Usually only when I'm autopiloting a long flight or such, tonight sees me at a long stint of slowly downloading Zoo Tycoon 2 animals for my daughter, part one finished I found myself wandering what to do, hence I visited this thread.

The screenies are great, Stalin at his best, good to see him. Beautiful looking Spits, they always are, but very nicely framed. Add Cranberries and De Havillands and so much more, as my kids would say, AWESOMES (apparently one isn't always enough, lol).
