Quick work there squire!
Looking good as far as I can see. If you're happy you have enough reference material etc?
Cheers

Looking good...no, looking great!
The main instrument panels are great (maybe a little darker panel black?), the canopy, gunsight, footpedals, stick are superb.
Only a nudge, but Luftwaffe cockpits are that dark grey-blue I have talked about before, the reason why the cockpit looks light blue is only due to the flash photography. Those light blue ledges look odd and separate from the cockpit, shouldn't they replace the light grey cockpit sides?
The levers on the LHS actually come out of the top of the side instrument panels not those light blue ledges. The centre instrument binnacle in the footwell doesn't actaully have any holes in the top.
Many thanks

It does have three holes in the top.. check one of the actual very dark pics you sent...
In another vein, though,
check this out:
http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=37b_1378633407 I think you will enjoy this very much.
I think you'll get a kick out of it... makes us colonials look like asses...hahahaha
......the tears are still running down my face...absolutely priceless......what a Homer moment, I wonder how that Captain felt (and still feels!)...:redf:
I also wonder about the master navigator of such a large force, I mean, at 20-25Knts they would be hitting the rocks at La Coruna within the hour!!!
Thank you G for that, I think we've all been there or close at some time in our lives as well....
Also, beg your pardon about the holes, it's in some pics and not others and I didn't realise. They're definitely not for dials, maybe access holes for wiring, bulbs etc and some have come off or?? Let it be 'holy' by all means!
tschüß!

I bet the captain must have chewed the ass off the junior officer in charge of navigation! Probably the traffic common to the are probably know the callsign for the lighthouse...
and the US NAVY folks... just passing through mistook it to be some Spanish Coast Guard vessel....
I loved the irony and sarcasm.... "We are not going anywhere... escorted by 2 dogs... etc." really priceless...
I tried to do some redoing on the French Air Force P-47C textures by Msr. DeBressy... unfortunately, the mapping is a bit off... but
I think that, although not to the highest standards, the old Malinowski model still looks not too bad... Also, changed the gunsight for something a bit
more like the real thing... that square job it comes with is really totally out of whack....
Re-Me410 panel, that's ok then, looks good as is...many thanks.

Hi G,
Like it, something different, and a good job!
It's a P51B, flown by Edwin L Heller of the 486FS of the 352FG. He joined the Service in 1942 and during World War II flew both the P-51 and P-47 in the European Theater with the 352nd Fighter Group, becoming an Ace with 5 1/2 victories. Flying F-86s with the 51st Fighter-Interceptor Wing in Korea he scored a further 3 1/2 victories before being shot down, resulting in two and a half years as a prisoner of war of the Chinese. Became a Lt Col.

Sometimes the best plans of mice and men often go awry....
A big OOPs... I got so intense on doing it, I thought I was through before I was...
forgot the yellow stripes, red elevators and wing tips.. plus misplaced manufacturer logo and no kill marks...
Now I got it finished... until I or another rivet counters find fault with it.... :isadizzy::isadizzy:
