I don't have the link handy but the latest software update for TrackIR 5 is designed to work with P3D. I have actually downloaded and tried it. Works fine for me.

oh yay......well i may just move over then....
Track-IR works fine in P3D now. Guess they came to an understanding which is good for us. I recommend burning fsx because with P3D it's obsolete! :-)
If government was the answer, it was a stupid question!

And if you want to have TrackIR outside views automatically turned off you can pick up the little freeware applet 'JAB'. Works great in P3D.

This is good, Naismith. I have not used my head tracking for ages. I did not like outside views being minimal, and locked to head movements.
