Peenemunde research facility uploaded!

Good evening,

I took a break from working on the library...(I currently have about 2,000 files to approve) and finished off something on my "round table." This is the German research facility at Peenemunde, Germany. Achim was generous enough to build an airbase at the location, and I used the original layout by sc7500, and with his full permission, tweaked and modified it extensively, incorporating it into Achim's scenery, with results I think are worthy of release for CFS2. This will be a target for your heavy bombers as they march deep into the Reich.

I've always used Ralf-J.Triebel's CFS1 version, which is extensive but still CFS1, so this will be a great replacement.

In your README/setup there are a lot of other scenery items to install ie ac, Flak38, 88mm Flak, ships etc etc (which I have done as per), but as in your pics there's none of those showing up even on the scenery denses setting.

Am I missing something or?

The ships, anti-aircraft guns, and vehicles are for the layout, which you can use in missions to blow s*it up. You cannot have AA guns, vehicles, and ships in GSL scenery, because...

A) The guns will not fire, nor will the vehicles fire their guns.

B) The ships will not sink.

For a demonstration of the latter, install MaskRider's Solomons with the redone Henderson field. It's beautiful, but the ships are made out of indestructible steel. You can blow the bejesus out of them, and they will not sink.

No complaints, though it would be nice to have some of these embedded in the scenery, even if they don't function etc etc, to add to character to the place. Something for a distant rainy day maybe?
