I’ve started a project of miscellaneous gauges and first off is the O2 Blinky. Thanks here go to Captain Kurt for putting me on such an intriguing task. Note that this one is different from my previous "test" post. Mostly I have changed the technique of what makes the yellow blink. This new approach, though not obvious, allows for anti-aliasing. Here is a sequence (large for your viewing pleasure).

Master painters – a question. The artwork here was derived from an actual picture. I’ve found a way to transform them and the result is a realism I cannot duplicate by hand. Remember that I use to paint paintings and to do a gauge with tubes and brush – easy smeazy. It’s just painting on a computer is different. How is it done?
Also Painters I have a palette question. A nagging concern of mine is giving the gauges a consistent color harmony. I've done a bit of reading but how is this done?
For you hand editor’s the new gauge is "AldMisc!O2Blinky". If everyone is happy with the gauge then this is for release (freeware only). If not, do let me know and I will be happy change it (let’s get it right). PM’s of course are OK. A few more such odd gauges and I’m thinking upload.
Oh yes – and I may as well own up to it now. "Ald" – my initials? No. It was something that the indomitable Bearcat said that launched me into making gauges to begin with. It stands for "Against the Lamentable Dearth" (had to look up dearth). So yea, blame it on Bearcat!
Now just how to spell "smeazy"?
