OOPS! So it is, Six stub exhausts! I was looking at the tailplane shape!

Having said that, earlier MKIXs did use the MkV airframe, so the appearance was very similar, the main difference of course being that the MKIX had Two radiators beneath the wings, whereas MKVs had One Rad and One Oil Cooler; later production examples had the more pointed tail/rudder and a greater surface area to counter the higher torque of the more powerful merlin and gryphon engines.

Cool Chanukah Flight At Northern Edge Of Arctic Circle

Shalom and greetings all my pals,

As awesome Chanukah gift for all of you, allow me to present a nice Chanukah flight full of sky beauty from EFRO Rovaniemi Airport located about 6 miles north of city centre of Rovaniemi to ENTC Tromsø Airport located on the western shore of the island of Tromsøya at Langnes in Tromsø, Norway.

Airborne on climb to FL300 to execute the specific flight plan consisted of waypoints: SITSO BISRO ATA RATUL HTK TRO22

    Still climbing

You can see icing effects on engine and wings

    Almost reaching FL300

Because of regulations of the forums not allowing more than 4 screenshots per post, please be kind enough to go to this hyperlink to view rest of the exciting flight:

    Here is the link: http://vatil.org.il/forum/index.php/...arctic-circle/

Thank you for viewing and HAPPY CHANUKAH to all of you!! Stay tuned for next exciting flight.

    Regards,

    Aharon

Au delá des Nuages - Beyond the Clouds by Romain Hugault.

The beautiful Caudron C-460 by Gilles Faulmeyer in the colours from Lucas-Ferron. A fictive person in Romain Hugault's albums "Beyond the clouds".
I tried to add more detail to the textures.

I'm not much of a screenshot artist, but here's a fictional P-80 paint that I've been working on between Lodestars. I always liked this scheme on the P-51 so I decided to adapt it to the AlphaSim P-80 which is still a favortite of mine ported over to FSX SE. Still a little to do with it, but it's almost there for me.

    Willy:

That looks great. Hopefully, you will have a version for non-SE users that you can upload to the library.

It should work in MS FSX just as well as it does in SE. SE is FSX with most of the bugs fixed.

I've uploaded a bunch of paints that work great in regular FSX.

Also have another 4 or 5 P-80 paints based on WWII fighter paint schemes (I ran out of interesting Korean era paints to do)
