The last Supermarine. The Scimitar may be thought of as the ultimate lineal Spitfire decendent, via the Spiteful, Attacker and Type 530. It leaked fuel, had nasty deep stall and high alpha behaviour, was a bit short on operational kit and had an awful attrition rate. It was also tremendously powerful, and well loved by her pilots.

The Scimitar is a fine aerobatic performer as well. Alpha did a great job, though I've reservations about the fin tip shape.
