A couple of points - first I have not paid much attention to Russia in FSX then I discovered the wonderful AN24 for FSX the IL86 and Tupelov 114 models produced by Russian modellers. Quirky but worth the effort amazing quality and effort. Second with the help of the Google Translating I discovered the Russian Sim site Avsim.su which is an amazing and rich source of aircraft and scenery alike plus lots of other stuff. Third it is all for FSX or earlier and there is an uptake on MSFS now as well. A whole new part of the world to explore a lot of Global Vector stuff done in this area as well so it is quite fascinating. So here is a taste:

Small point it is a very long way from one side the Western part to the Eastern parts. Then there is the artic areas etc etc. No politics just great simming.
