If bottled water was popular back in the day I'm sure the F-8 guys would've found a lotta uses for those bottles. :d
They also make good targets to shoot at for target practice and to confirm zeros when out in the desert. I've even used plastic water bottles to cary water. Can you believe that?
Duct tape (AKA 100 Mile an Hour Tape) is also indispencible in military operations.
