So far excellent frame rates, at the max texture setting even flying around PNW.

Mathias, what are your recommended joystick/peddal sensitivity settings for this plane? My takeoffs have been dancing around a little bit getting used to the sensitivities

Honestly TJ, I can't really recommend custom settings as I never saw a need to use anything else than default settings with my M$FFB 2 stick

It's not explicitely mentioned anywhere in the documentation, but apart from the two cockpit equipment variants there's also two color variants to go with each.

Love the plane! I have just finished some short hop to Tempelhof and I must say it is one of the greatest addons I own. Apart the modelling and texturing, I really like the VC sounds and the flight dynamisc. The planes is good on fps as well. Once again, thanks for all your efforts, Mathias!
Are you planning to relase some paintkit in the future ?

    Thank you, djwaglik!

There is a paintkit, just available as a separate download to keep the core file small.
Go to "Start\All Programs\Classics Hangar\Bf 108 Taifun\check for updates" and download the paintkit from that link.
There's also a readme document to go with the paintkit with some pointers on the texture.cfg and the use of the canopy texture template.

A beautiful model indeed! Does it need Acceleration (I hope not! )

    That's gorgeous, Mathias. Congratulations.

This one is totally mine after my first paycheck from my new job. It looks like a blast to fly with that huge canopy.

No, but SP 2 is required.

Thank you Mathias, it's simply wunderbar! The flight dynamics make me feel in the air, the VC makes me feel really into a cockpit.

Looks great! Will this be on Simmarket anytime soon?

Wonderful model and great fun but is anyone else getting a constant, slight roll to the left regardless of any amount of input to rudder or aileron trim? Don't know if it's a balance issue or torque modelled but I am unable to counteract this slight roll.
    Thanks for any help

Woody, since the aircraft has no adjustable aileron and rudder trim it is pre-trimmed to fly straight and level at cruise speed.
Is it by chance a joystick calibration issue?

I will check but haven't had any issues with any other planes.

Ok, if it turns out to not be a joystick issue we can talk farther.
The pre-trim is editable but requires some basic knowledge of editing XML files.

I have tried a number of different things and the most likely suspect is the rudder null zones. (it's a saitek twist rudder). I have increased the null zones and although not completely eliminated it is certainly better. I will continue to tweak around with these and see how I go. thanks for the help Mathias.

p.s. hope this cures it beacause I know nothing on editing xml files

Nothing to worry about, I can easily pass on an edited file to you.
Another thing, you can savely exclude the influence of wind, right?

Oh, and here's a hot day over the desert. :-)
