If they can put that into X-Plane, then its time for me to start learning the SDK.
Dimitri sure does some amazing paint work. What an amazing artist in plane painting and interiors...
On the Mooney screenshots, I could be wrong, but that looks like bump mapping. Surely Austin doesnt have bump mapping yet in X-Plane, does he?

I made some repaints for the default Sentinel.
Adding normal files ( alike bumpmapping) and specularity is no problem.
I added that to several planes.
The resolution is ( till today) 2048x2048 max.
I think its really time for you to start learning the SDK Bill. ( I hardly can imagine you did not already started )

The Mooney by Carenado for X-Plane is exactly as beautifull as the one for FSX.
It even has some extras.
