    windows7

    ok ive read in several places and in the latest computer pilot that windows7 is better for FSX so i bought it....anything i should do to my FSX install before i install 7?...

    I would save everything. I am not sure there is an upgrade version to Windows 7 and really requires a whole new OS install. Will lose your FSX install then.


    All your Profile (Desktop, Libraries (My Documents, etc) gets put into a Windows.old folder.


    I am sure others are coming though to answer your question.

    BTW which version of Win 7 did you buy?

    what?..it wont just install on top of what i have installed now?
    well poop..........i may not install it.......it is windows7 priemiunm(speeling?)

    You can install "on top" of Vista, But must do a complete install with XP.

    You'll be good with the upgrade then and you will be most happy with W7.
    I also saw a frame rate increase when I went from Vista 64 to W7 64
