and I was expecting to see a picture of a cute little newborn baby! :isadizzy:
Not bad for a brand W. I'm holding out for an old square bolt Marlin.
I've got a couple of Savage 99E's (the one with a rotary magazine) that I've had more than 30 years. I live in the middle of the mountains in northeast Washington, USA, but don't hunt anymore. I just watch the deer walk through my yard all year long.
you'll shoot yer eye out!
Nice addition to the family Piglet. I've had a pre-64 Model 94 since I was in high school. No ammount of technology and modern short cut manufacturing techniques can come close to producing the quality rifles that the old craftsmen at Winchester did before 1964.

Nice:mixedsmi: I've got a model 74 from '44. Nothing really special about it except the fact that it was only shot once until I inherited it. It has now been used quite often now.

I will have to get a pic of my newest addition. I picked up an Remington 03A3 that someone did a first class customizing job on. It looks like the customizing was done several years ago but the rifle is in great shape. To much was changed to convert back to military specs but it will be a great addition to my working guns. :d

You forgot "kid".
C9G, with Piglet it would be a new puppy. :d
Sweet Piglet, but then you'd expect that from a true son of the Confederacy. :d
Actually, I collect air and COČ rifles and handguns. Cheap way to keep one's eye sharp and the Sheridan will make any varmint shuffle off this mortal coil!

All kinds of varmits...beware! Nice Tim Had a Marlin Model 94 and traded for a used Remington .270 Model 700 BDL...wish I still had it too.

How's this for a square bolt Marlin? It's been in the family for over a hundred years and it now belongs to my son. It is still a sweet shooter with a good bore. We plink out to 200 yards with it using cast lead bullets that we handload to a velocity of 1800 fps for a light recoiling and low pressure load that will hold 2 MOA all day long.

Only young ones allowed in this house are dogs and guinea-pigs. Of course I also have my firearms rescue program!
