SA-2 Guideline surface-to-air missile for FS.

Did you ever feel there was something missing from FS? Yes, not enough surface-to-air missiles.

Here's one I made in gmax:

I'll take a battery or few for Northern Canada please. They would make a excellent edition to the fictional CFB Northstar scenery.

Like I said on another site...
I need to figure out where you are and not fly there!

    Cool

Cool, it even has booster-sustainer separation. Only did not notice radar was heading towards threat. It is a Fan song F radar you modelled.
Do the missiles actually follow/home in on air traffic (AI and personally flown)?

Most neat thing will be if ya flying a fighter, you actually get warnings by RWR.

    Where to get this beauty?

I could probably create the audio from memory, that unmistakable "rattlesnake" sound

Very cool!! I'll be placing a few of these on our southern border, LOL

Sweet video, does it really do what the video shows in FS or are those edits?

    Hmmm. This got me thinking.
I used to enjoy high powered rocketry, but it's rather expensive.
    Lot of regulations now too.
But using FSX as a rocketry simulator...

I've got some FS explosion effects, but they didn't really work so I borrowed some clips from the old Lock On game and edited them in.

I moved the launchers closer together for the movie. That radar hut would have got roasted as soon as the first salvo went on their way.
