    Attention Piglet...

    Tim,

There are a great many of us who love your T-33s...would you mind if others on the forum updated the existing FDE to enhance the performance of your model-- particularly in FSX-- and made it available to others so that we can continue to get the most out of your creation?

    Thanks!

    Kent

gets my vote. not that I count at all, just one of my all time fav a/c and would love to see it in FSX.

    Tim...

...is there any chance of updating the model to FSX standards???? (And perhaps adding a version with a travel pod???). I love the existing airplane-- an FSX version would be all the better...

    Thanks,

    Kent

afraid i only crunch numbers.. Piglet would have to pull the original model back into his 3 software and rerender it for fx changing all the animations and things. it can be a lengthy process..

Yea, cause knowing Tim, it wouldn't be a half__s job. It would be a totally new project. My guess is he has plenty to work on right now. He consented to having the FDE updated. That sounds like a good plan for now.

it can be a lengthy process..
Especially when it's an older FSDS model, and no longer have the files for it!

With ailerons and elevators and rudders, FS auto-adjusts the length of travel 'IF' (if...........) you did not animate the parts mentioned. Animating them will 'probably' cause them to fully animate through their travel in FS, via 'l_aileron_01' name tags, etc...

But with stock tagging, usually the 'config' file will ask for max extension angles for each control surface and the game engine animates them appropriately.
