I used to have a life...

    Then I got X3...

It arrived yesterday at 12:00 & I started playing. After repeated cajoling from my wife to come to bed I finally shut it down at 05:00.

    Jeeze talk about addictive!

Bill ole buddy, I blame you personally

I got the Gold Version so I put Conflict on my Desktop & Reunion on my laptop. So far I only fired up Reunion to look at it, the lions share of my time is with Conflict.

Mods? Not yet, I am still getting comfortable with the sim but give me time

I will join the group too... Hello my name is Bob & I am a X3 addict.

Hello; my name is Marlin and I'm addicted to Boron. LOLOLOLOL:mixedsmi:

    03:30 is common

Kind of reminds me of the old days, "If it's not green it's not beer." in reference to Heineken beer.

<--- nervously gets up, hand holding the styrofoam coffee cup shaking slightly

My name is Bill and I am a Terran addict..

<-- sweat begins to trek a trail down the left side of the face, upper lip is sweaty

I first thought I could handle X3TC when I was staying up till 1:30 AM.. Then it gradually got worse.. I thought I was able to control it..

But then I had to monitor my fleets, and then pick on the Xenon elite fighter groups, and learn more addon script tools, and learn to make ships in Gmax... And before I could close for the night, I had to patrol at least once through 3 sectors to check for pirates.. And of course, recheck my fleet for damaged craft before I could sign out.. This was getting towards 3:30 AM and now recently, till 4AM.

    HELP!!!!

<-- falls back into chair, breathing heavy, sweating profusely, mind lost in the 'to-do's' of the fleet at home on the computer, wondering when the backwards engineering will be done on the Heavy Nemesis super destroyer...

Waaah -- I haven't played since last year!

Too many honey-do's and such. But I'm building up some credit with the spouse, and there's a three-day weekend coming up soon (rubs hands together gleefully).

Trade her some foot massages for hours on the sim....

If you have strong hands and you can sense her desires, you'll have plenty of flight time.

I do that once in a while, just checking things out. I still paruse the stations, doing super close fly-by's, checking out the details, animations, and things.

I wish I could do that.

But NOOOOO, I have to take on missions that say very hard and get my as kicked. So what do I do? Try it again; fail. Do you think I can pass up that cool million creds? Nope.

I did one mission for about 4 hours last night and never did finish it. :isadizzy:

Do you think that I'll do it again tonight? don't know, but I'll let you know.

Some of us are sticking to "Very Easy" until we have more than two E-M Plasma Cannon to play with.

...escorting tankers right now. Enthralling. Honest!
