Takes me back P., I remember that and the Indy turbines too. But they Indy turbines were dead quiet for race cars, only a little whistle.

If you have GTR2, there's a turbine powered Corvette in the download section at No-grip that will give a good impression on how difficult it is to drive a turbine powered car. There a long delay in engine response, but when accelerating but also when you take your foot off the gas. A lot of anticipation is required!
