How do I get fraps to run more smoothly?

I reduced to smaller image and still runs slow, also it reduces the frame rate drastically. How can I repair?

Are you using the freeware or payware version?

If you're using the freeware one ..... then you may have: "blond-ed" it up... Attachment 7403

Uninstall & reloading it should clear up the trouble.

Are you using WinXP or Vista? - please don't say Win98!! Attachment 7402

But this thing is running on windows XP, and it is the freeware version.

I was given the stats on this system if that would help?

Depending on the amount of objects and the action, fraps - free or pay - can eat a lot of frames. Try it in a mission with fewer moving objects and without Usio's ships.
