I was pleasantly surprised that they have the cruise patch I designed for VFP-63 Det 2 aboard USS John F. Kennedy!
Solid!....

The only thing necessary for evil to win is for good men to do nothing.
Great Stuff. Do you know a site that specializes in the history of individual squadrons, which tends to be very confusing. For example, during WWII VF3 and Vf 6 switched designations and feuded over who would get custody of Felix the Cat until VF 3 (or VF6...depending on how you look at it) was disbanded (after the war, I believe.) Sometimes, it seemed to make no sense what so ever. A lot of history and tradition was lost when VF 2 was disbanded. Maybe it was a plot to confuse the Japaneese or the old three ways to do things ploy. (right way, wrong way and the Navy way.) :isadizzy:
.... The whole site is a nice resource BC:ernae:
