Congrats and thank you! :ernae:
"Trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty!" John Adams 1772
Snuffy / Ted
"They pass from us quickly but never from our memories or our gratitude".
"Those who live by the sword are shot by those who don't"
Even a kid who was 18 years of age at the time of the landings would be 83-84. They won't be with us much longer. I think the old Viking proverb says it best:
"Cattle die
kinsmen die
all men are mortal.
Words of praise
will never perish
nor a noble name."
To all those men who fought on both sides.... sent to die becuase of the evil in men. I salute all men in uniform on that day.
To our American military lost on this day... I will get there one day to plant a flag... for now I only have this. :USA-flag:
Thank you for your sacrifice.

and thank you D-Day Vets
The D-Day Memorial at Bedford is in my back yard. It has fallen on hard times from lack of donations. That is such a shame. My wife and I contribute $50.00 every year.
God bless those men, there will be some, but there will never be as many like them.
